Rwanda’s representatives at the 2025 African Club Volleyball Championship are flying the national flag high in Misurata, Libya, after both Kepler VC and APR VC secured spots in the Round of 16.
Kepler VC punched their ticket after finishing second in Group C, with an impressive record of four wins and just one loss. In their final group match, they delivered a commanding performance to defeat Ethiopia’s Wolaita Dicha Sports Club in straight sets (25-19, 30-28, 34-32), sealing their qualification.
Meanwhile, APR VC made it through as the third-placed team in Group D. Out of five group matches, the Rwandan army side won three and lost two. In their last group-stage encounter, they put up a strong fight but eventually fell to Libya’s Ittihad Hall (21-25, 25-20, 22-25, 22-25).
Looking ahead to the knockout stage, Kepler VC will face Espoir of DR Congo, while APR VC is set for a tough clash against Kenya’s General Service Unit (GSU).
